RECORD PROMOTION GUIDE
INTERNATIONAL LICENSING
International Licensing is a "dream come true", "found money" and a good vehicle to get your music compositions heard and sold in foreign countries outside of the United States. As long as you, the label and/or artist own the master recording rights and possibly the publishing as well, you might encourage the attention of either a major company like BMG or EMI etc. for the world or a foreign independent label to license your recording, album or catalog for a specific term.
On the Record Promotion Guide you will find the various ways a deal may be structured, what royalty percentages may apply, exclusive vs. non-exclusive arrangements, where the International Licensing conventions are held throughout the year for one purpose only "what do you have that we can use in our country", and so much more.
