RECORD PROMOTION GUIDE

BILLBOARD REPORTERS

Billboard Reporters are a group of Disc Jockeys who have been 'Hand-Picked" by Billboard Magazine to be the eyes and ears of music for Billboard Magazine in a particular geographical area within the United States. These "Super DJs" are located in major markets throughout the United States and are numbered from one to several reporters per city depending of that city's population and market place share. If a certain number of the total Billboard Reporters report your release to Billboard Magazine, it is likely you can realize charting positions somewhere on the Billboard Magazine Dance charts. Large music retail chains usually purchase their new releases for in-store sales based on Billboard Magazine charts.
